She treats cancers of the cervix, vulva, uterus, and ovary, and she operates as well as manages medical care. Before FCS, she was an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Massachusetts for five and a half years, and led minimally invasive and robotic surgery there.She is a principal investigator with the National Gynecologic Oncology Group, which runs clinical trials in women’s cancers. She has presented work to the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery and the New England Association of Gynecologic Oncologists, and her papers have appeared in Thrombosis Research, Women’s Oncology Review, Gynecologic Oncology, and the American Journal of Clinical Oncology.She speaks English and Italian, and Spanish well enough for clinic.
